BlogHer Operation Glory – Mission Accomplished

I have yet to write a bucket list.  I know.  It’s something that has been in the back of my mind for some time.  I just need to get it down on paper.  In the mean time, I would love to share an entry that I just marked complete.

#4 FLASH MOB.

For a little back story here.  Many weeks ago a question landed in my inbox. “Hey Kathleen, would you care to join in a Flash Mob at BlogHer”.  The note was from Mama Mary and Rock on Mommies, both part of the San Diego Momfia.  Heck Ya, was my response,  let the planning and Ustream rehearsals begin.

Fast Forward to last weekend, Blogher rolled in to town.  I had been looking forward to Blogher for over a year.  3,600 women ‘bloggers’ gathered with some of the biggest sponsors known to commercialism and speakers that would make Donald Trump raise an eyebrow had arrived.  My anticipation of the Convention was now parallel to the event that was about to take place.  San Diego Conference Center was the scene.  The day was Friday.  The time was 12:15.  Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you Operation Glory.

NBC San Diego was there and filmed it as well.  Their video is the whole shebang.  Scroll down the page to the multimedia video.  HERE is the link.  I’m more identifiable in their video, but I will not point myself out.  There is a reason for that.  I’ll explain in my next Flash Mob post.  I’m waiting on photography and possible black mail arrangements stemming from them.

Good times Theresa, Mary and Crew. Good times.  Thank you for organizing Operation Glory, it was an exhilarating experience from beginning to end.  Now what shall we have up our sleeve’s for NYC in 2012?
