Silhouettes from Love & Victory {Shop Talk}

I discovered Meg Moorhouse of Love & Victory from a giveaway on A Cup of Jo this past week.   Meg makes beautiful jewelry and custom silhouettes.  After landing on her site, I had a childhood flash back….. Here I am circa 1976.

When I was a wee sprite, my Mom had silhouettes made of her children’s faces. All of these pieces have resided in my parents bedroom, hung on a wall becoming priceless family heirlooms. See the hair bows and cheeks from above?

The artist captured them so perfectly.

Even the tiny plastic barrette on top of my head to keep the wispy pieces of hair out of my eyes.  When I found Love & Victory, I was smitten with her work.  I was even more thrilled that all you need to do is simply send her your photo, and she’ll create a one-of-a-kind charm or wall art.
