Lip Gloss Honor Roll

June 6, 2011 by Kathleen

Greetings everyone.  Hope you had a nice weekend.  In our neck of the woods we had friends over and went to a super party for John Wooden of UCLA basketball fame in Newport Beach.

At this party, healing one of my friends was wearing the most amazing shade of lip gloss.   I asked what brand it was and the conversation about our favorites emerged.  My preference is a wand applicator.  The whole Juicy Tube craze was fun, shop but I could never seem to apply the right amount of gloss.  Always too much or too little.  I have moved  on to a brush applicator and I don’t think I’ll be looking back anytime soon.

Here is my lip gloss honor roll for June 2011.  I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow.  But, for now, I would never think of leaving home without one of these. Please by all means share yours!  I always love to find new Holy Grail Beauty products, especially lip-gloss.  A girl can never have too many.

Best blog post I’ve read in years, and a very important and timely subject. I have tried to “break” myself Chanel gloss, but I can’t. It’s so dang expensive. But nothing even comes close. I LOVE IT. And I have those very same colors!

About BB, sorry, too sticky. The end.

I Love this post. Perfect for summer. And those selections are dreamy. I would add Lip Tint in Cherry by Bobbi Brown. However it may not be to your liking since it is in a Tube. The color is great, but I agree application can be messy.

Kathleen, have you tried MAC Lustreglass? It has that wand/brush applicator you would like. Nectar is my go to.

Even though this is much less glossy, I can highly recommend FusionBeauty LipFusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick in Berry. Looks just like lip color, but better!
