Ok, so I have a Kitchenaid mixer. Received it from my mother almost 15 years ago. I would probably save it first in a house fire, then my family photos, because I love it so much. We have been through thick and thin (batters, that is) and there isn’t enough money in the world to make me give up or not use my Kitchenaid mixer. She needs a friend, though. My mixer knows that I am sometimes not as efficient as I could be because she must handle all of the work. If she had a friend to help out, she and I would be positively THRILLED!!! We aren’t sure if the new kid on the block should be white, or red, or yellow, but I’m sure that whichever we chose, the new mixer will be so happy to have a buddy and a job! So, yes, I would like to win the Kitchenaid mixer!!! After all, when I get done coming up with all the ideas I want to try by reading your blogs, heaven knows I will NEED a second mixer!!!!!!

Man oh man, a very though decision. I have my mom’s KitchenAid mixer from when we were kids, in a very rad mustard color, but it works like a champ. As much as I would like an updated color there is something that makes me happy about making my kids cookies in the same mixer that my mom did for us. So, that said, I am going for the Keurig.

The mixer, for sure. My wife has been threatening to get one for several years. She wants to leave it out on our already-crowded counter, so I like that it’s purty.

Kitchen aid for sure!!!!! Never can have enough to mix, whip, make pasta….ohh, I am hungry already!!!

  27. Lisa says

    November 26, 2012 at 12:17 pm

Oh this is a tough one. But being that our Kitchenaid mixer motor just blew up (YES that’s a lot O baking!), I would say the mixer. My mom, the matriarch of our family-who is also the staple of our good eating for every holiday, has been crippled without it! And we are ALL suffering (note to self….really? Yes. You would think it’s diet time but nooooo..replacement is manditory)! I don’t know anyone who can whip out a creamy, sugary delight better than her a d we miss her efforts tremendously. Believe it or not, she’s been baking for an army, by hand! She’s a trooper and deserves the lovin more than anyone I know. But to whomever it belongs in the end, thank you for the gesture and…bring it on you merry, beautiful Santas! Lol
