Beauty Products. I love them.  Having a blog to share the finds, well,  that just floats my boat.  Some are old school, been using them forever, others are brand spanking new.  Without further adieu, here is my Honor Role Beauty Products 2011.

Cosmetics

  1. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation talked about this find over HERE 2.  Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer – Shimmering Beige 2 or Amber 11 3. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner – Sepia Ink 4. Mac Eye shadow – Bisque, Quarry, Mulch, Honesty, Naked Lunch, Shroom, Satin Taupe and All That Glitters 5. Giorgio Armani Maestro Eye Shadow – Number 25 6. Shu Uemura Eyebrow Gel 7. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler 8. Waterproof Mascara Dior ‘Diorshow Iconic Extreme’ – Black  

Lipstick and Glosses

1. Supercalifragilipstick by Kate Spade – Practically Perfect in Every Way. Bashful Blush resides in my purse. 2. Bobbi Brown Lip Glosses – in Nude and Petal 3. LipFusion – Clear. HARD TO FIND. It is my favorite lip plumper.  It hydrates lips with a Micro-Injected Collagen formula. Please don’t leave me LipFusion Clear. 4. Tom Ford Lipstick – Cherry Blush or any others 5. Channel Glossimers – summer plum 90. It was a very polished faint plum/berry color. Discontinued – be still my heart. After contacting Chanel’s, I was a little bent out of shape, I have learned Imaginare 84 is a lovely substitute. 6. Nars Flamenco (sheer strawberry) Thanks Sarah for the tip. Sarah is another product aficionado over here at Whoorl.

Sunscreen:

1. Brightening SPF 50 UV Protective Face Base – I would buy it by the case if I could. 2. EltaMD UV PHYSICAL SPF 41 – A recommendation from Ms. Kammi 3. Kiehl’s Super Fluid UV Defense SPF 50+ – a recommendation from Ms. Michelle.

Hair:

1. Caviar Hair Tonic –  A medium hold setting spray to use on towel dried hair before styling. 2. Orbie Dry Shampoo Texturing Spray – STOP THE PRESSES and SHUT THE DOOR. This is a Holy Grail find. NOT exaggerating. It is an invisible (clear) dry spray that builds incredible volume and texture to any hair type. It leaves zero, zip, nada, tacky residue like other dry shampoos on the market. It is listed as a dry shampoo, and performs this job with flying colors. Way-way better than Tinted Bubble Bee or much talked about Klorane. However, the volumizer is what speaks to me. On clean hair it adds lift, texture and va-va voom volume for full-on glamorous night-out-on-the-town hair. I’ll stop now – out of breath.

Perfume:

1. Bond No. 9 Saks Fifth Ave (women) – smells like gardenias in a bottle 2. Tom Ford Cologne ANY (Men) – Choose any scent. Wow. Wow.

Face Care:

Clarasonic – An investment worth making. Removes more shmutz than manually washing your face.  It’s like an electronic toothbrush for your face, gentle enough to leave your skin feeling squeaky clean.

Nails

OPI Axxium Soak-Off Gel Lacquer ~ Italian Love Affair. Talk about a manicure that last 3 weeks. I love this light pink color, a touch darker than OPI Bubble Bath.   There you have it. The Honor Role – Top Beauty Products 2011. What are yours? DO SHARE!   Pin It
