Monday, decease October 31, help 2011
3:30 – 6 pm
The costume contest begins at 4:30 p.m. and participants need to register between 3:30 and 4:20 p.m. in the courtyard nearUniversityOfficeTower. Prizes will be awarded in several age groups, sovaldi including 1 to 2 years old; 3 to 4 years old; 5 to 6 years old; and 7 to 12 years old. Each category will have awards for Cutest, Scariest, Most Original and Best Group costume. The contest is complete with prizes and giveaways, and is limited to the first 500 entries.
After the contest, youngsters can go trick-or-treating whereUniversityCenter merchants display a jack-o-lantern sign in their window. A Halloween backdrop will also be available for personal photo opportunities. In addition, Irvine Police officers from the D.A.R.E. program will be on hand to greet participants and free Child ID and fingerprinting services will be provided courtesy of New York Life.

Main Street Halloween Celebration ~ Huntington Beach

Free event for children of all ages, this annual Halloween celebration features games, a haunted house, petting zoo, pony rides, activity booths, inflatable rock wall, slide, obstacle course and tunnel, costume contest and more. Children can trick-or-treat along Main Street and enter into a costume contest.
Also, feel free to dress up your dog and bring them along, as this event is pet friendly!

Treats in the Streets ~ City of Orange

The streets surrounding the Old Towne Plaza are closed off to traffic and Old Towne merchants decorate their shops and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Fun activities, food booths, costume parade and community displays. (Parents please leave masks and pets at home)

Halloween Fest ~ Villa Park

The night before Halloween, the VP Towne Center suddenly becomes the happy haunting grounds for young ghosts, goblins, a few pirates, some skeletons, and lots of princesses who have escaped from their local castles. This annual event includes a costume contest, hayride from the parking area, crafts, treats and more!

Pumpkins & Pancakes ~ Costa Mesa

South Coast Plaza celebrates its 20th year of Pumpkins and Pancakes, a Halloween extravaganza to benefit Casa Orange County, Choc Children’s Foundation and Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Pumpkins & Pancakes will include all the best music, games, contests, and prizes. Children and adults will come in costume to enjoy a gourmet pancake breakfast provided by Plums Café and Catering, meet Hello Kitty, the Care Bears, Paul Frank’s Julius, The Anaheim Duck’s Wild Wing and more! Children and adults will enjoy music, arts and crafts, balloon artists, a petting zoo, caricature drawings, hair feathering, face-painting, complimentary family photos, and an amazing silent auction benefiting CASA Orange County, CHOC Children’s Foundation and Orangewood Children’s Foundation. Tickets cost $35 each and proceeds benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates. Children under 2 years old are free.
