Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Here is the story.  Last summer I was in San Francisco.  While visiting the Giorgio Armani counter in Saks the make-up artist gave me a sample of some Luminous Silk Foundation with a nod and a subtle wink.  Well, buy cialis okay.  I was already a card-carrying member of the cialis default,pd.html?dwvar_A247_color=1%20-%20pale&start=2&cgid=foundation&cgid=award-winners” target=”_blank”>Face Fabric Foundation tribe.  Nothing was going to change my mind as to my most favorite foundation of all time.  This felt like a hard sell.  I graciously smiled and said thank you.  Then tucked those samples deep in my travel luggage and forgot about them.  The End.

Until last week. Sadly, circumstances had me packing my cosmetics bag quickly.  Not until I was half way across the county did I realize I left my Face Fabric Foundation at home.  Drat.

That’s okay.  I can go without.  No biggie.

Then I found those last summer untouched samples.  Wow, that make-up artist even provided samples that matched my skin type.  He really was looking out for me.  I opened a tester and gave it a whorl.  Wait a minute.  Stop the presses. This stuff was extraordinary.  The heavens opened and angels sang.

What is this Giorgio Armani liquid I speak of?  It’s Luminous Silk Foundation.  An oil-free fluid that has some fancy dancy Micro-fil technology.  What does this mean?  It glides on seamlessly with a silky texture like none other.  The color is sheer, the coverage is even and glowing.  What a true foundation should do; even out your skin tone without making you seem like a painted lady.  It felt light and airy, making anyone ready for a sun visor mirror close-up.  I have now changed my foundation to what the ever so kind saleman was trying to advise.

I will never go back to using anything else.  That is until another Giorgio Armani rep hands me a sample with a wink and a smile.
