Mark your calendars for September 13th. The luxury Italian home and fashion brand Missoni will be releasing a collection for Target encompassing more than 400 products. Target has teamed with John Derian and Liberty of London to design the line. The line will feature Missoni’s classic stripes, zigzags and abstract florals that we all know and love. Every single new home decor, luggage, cosmetic bags and apparel for men, women, and kids, featuring the iconic zig-zag from Missoni will be released for sale. Items will range from $3 to $600, but most products will be about $40.
Boing.
What? The signature Missoni zigzags are familiar, but these prices are not. For example, now at Neiman Marcus a “Jazel” Striped BATH MAT comes in at $350.00. Ouchie.
So lets check out what will be at Target Friends. Here are a few favorites:
the children’s clothing (darling),
A laptop sleeve at $29.99. (iPad perfect)
the rain boots (bring-it STORM WATCH 2011).
Maybe I’ll consider buying the entire Missoni knitwear ensemble (obviously with those boots above).
A four-piece patio furniture set, online only. It’s one of the priciest item at $599.99, but hey kinda worth it. (Sunset viewing nirvana)
A five-piece stacking espresso set to serve guests, $39.99. (swoon)
A casual throw, $39.99. (Oh my goodness)
I’ll be loading my Red Target Cart up with as many towels I can carry. Bath towels ($10.99 to $12.99) and shower curtains ($34.99).
And finally,
A three-speed “ladies’ comfort bike,” $399.99. Also only available online. I can already feel my Newport Beach and NYC friends just got weak in the knees. (The front basket; fantastic)
