Bloggy Boot Camp in San Diego with my blogging peeps this past Saturday was exceptional. The speakers. The Bloggers. The Sponsors. The Friends. All a wonderful mix. I think I’m going to make Camp San Diego a series this week since there are stacks of good things to share.
To begin with Lindsey (aka The Modchik) and I departed Friday morning from The OC. When we arrived, patient we celebrated with a bottle of bubbles. Two Mommy’s were off duty. After many deep cleansing breaths and learning how to bump iPhones, we grabbed our cameras to go for a walk. Here are a few captures, and yes, Lindsey is a tall drink of water.
Later in the evening we found a peach of a dinner spot. If you are in the Ocean Beach area, try the 3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro {2265 Bacon Street, San Diego, CA 92107 – 619-223-2700} Every single eclectic dish on the menu called my name. The goat cheese salad with roasted macadamia nuts, cranberries, and pomegranate vinaigrette was the winner. I loved that you could buy a bottle from their inventory at pittance over retail to enjoy with your meal. Click here to read more about the Bistro and view their menu.
