OC Bloggers were welcomed at the Lazy Dog in Tustin, patient California this past Tuesday evening to drink and eat selected items from Executive Chef, Gabriel Caliendo. It was a complete Orange Crush; terrific night enjoyed by human and canines combined . I thank the two ladies behind EVERYTHING, Suz and Marcy.
I recall meeting both of them in December then returning home to share with DH about spending time with like minded people who were stupendously smart and fabulous. Suz, I have known since our daughter’s shared a Kindergarten teacher 3 years ago, and Marcy welcomed me at first glance; she is a savvy.witty.kick.in.the.pants.gal – my favorite. That fateful night in December everyone greeted myself and Lindsey with open arms. Friendships were born.
Marcy, after charming me with her humor, looked me in the eye and encouraged me to be myself and start a blog “you can do it girl” don’t be shy. Since then I created Sugar and Spice for those who were Beagle Brigade curious, enlightening folks who wanted to know more about our foster Beagles (Maddox/Buddy) and our new fancy show Beagle (Daphney) co-owned with Auburn Beagle in San Fran. Eventually, fate would have it, the requests came from loving and ultra supportive friends to share more of myself on my website (this took enormous thought & courage), and now thankfully, I am rubbing shoulders with some incredibly bright supportive and talented folks. Furthermore, Marcy still keeps me laughing.
Here is a visual recap and link-ups to these information age D-Jay’s. Trend setters, gathered at the Lazy Dog in Tustin, California. The social company was exhilarating, the restaurant patio enchanting and the food perfect. Please excuse the Whoot Whoot blog friends when I felt there was need for applause. I simply wanted to share a whole lotta love for the Lazy Dog Team playing host. Thanks Frank Groff Inc. , Lazy Dog and Chef Gabriel Caliendo for a splendid evening.

Executive Chef, Gabriel Caliendo offers a game of Russian Roulette – Vodka style.
And since the restaurant is Dog friendly, outside on the patio, be pleased to meet the NEWEST OC BLOGGER mascot, Badger. He is a rescue Grey Hound at the tender age of 5. He won countless races in his hay-day. Plus, dang, his hamstrings resemble a quarter horse. His Daddy shared, “he is the fastest lazy couch potato you will ever meet“. The Lazy Dog Patio loved him and he exemplified their marketing mantra. Even the cat loving Modchik was intrigued by this handsome pooch. Photo Below – I adore how open mined she it. So without further ado, Ladies and gentlemen,
Please say hello to the new OC Blogger Mascot and Lazy Dog Patio King – Badger.
