Juicing Recipes. With juicing being a New Years Resolution for many, here is a favorite juicing recipe to share. I love it because it tastes great. Pinky swear, it just needs to be cold. Afterwards I feel like a green goddess, healthy and ready to take on the day. Look out Olive Oil, Popeye would be proud because the key ingredient to this juicing recipe is spinach.
When DH saw these ingredients, he was horrified.
DH: What in the heck are your making?
DH: a nuclear green concoction?
Me: Yep, wanna try some – its good for you?
DH: Hell no
One Banana – CHECK
1/2 cup Crushed Ice – CHECK
1 TBSP peanut butter – CHECK
1/2 cup Fage Total 0% Fat Greek Yogurt – CHECK
4 cups baby spinach – CHECK
1 cup Silk Vanilla Lite Soy Milk – CHECK
Blend until silky smooth
It works. The Peanut Butter and Banana carry this Juicing Recipe. I made DH try a few swigs, he caved to my demands. His exact words…
“Not too bad, just needs to be really cold”.
I’ll take that as a win – fist pumps in the air. So, if you heed his advice, pour it over some ice. I thought it tasted just fine without it.

Here is the recipe to print
- 1 8″ – banana
- ½ cup crushed ice
- 1 Tbls smooth peanut butter (Jif)
- ½ cup plain nonfat greek yogurt (Fage)
- 1 cup light vanilla soy milk (Silk)
- 4 cups baby spinach (pre-washed)
- Add to blender and blend.
