Pause Day 3 of Chicken Week for {Wordless Wednesday} with a great wine find

Alrighty friends.

Instead of a recipe today to drool over.

I’m taking my foot off the pedal to have a day of photographic scenery.

But I won’t leave you hanging.

Check out below for a great economical bottle of Red Wine that will float your boat.

For Wordless Wednesday (perhaps a little wordy today), I would like to share photography submissions for Tracey Clark’s Big Fall Photo Class ~ Week 2.

{Big Holiday is coming ….. stay tuned}. <—so excited

 Day 12 Taking Some Time Out {to enjoy yourself}

Feeling relaxed now after your scenic tour?

Perfect.

Now onto the drinkies….

Here is an amazing Wine Find for Chicken Week

2006 Nine Points Sonoma County Meritage

It is a little wine created by its parent Stags Leap Winery.

The 2006 Meritage is surprisingly amazing right out of the bottle.

It is smooth and has a subtle jammy aftertaste.

This wine could easily be mistaken for a $30 bottle of Red.

But you can find it at your local Mega Mart for about $12.

It is one of the best everyday Red Wines I’ve come across in a very long time.

And yes friends, I’m thinking of writing/photographing a cookbook.
